Ubisoft had quite a bit going on at Fan Expo in Toronto this year. One of the upcoming titles that caught our eye was Rocksmith, which puts a new spin on the rhythm guitar game. It’s specfically designed to work with any electric guitar, which plugs into your Xbox 360, PS3 or PC via a USB adapter, and uses the chords you strum to keep track.
In the video above, you can catch Ryan’s talk with Adam from Ubisoft, who also demos the game using an Epiphone Les Paul plugged in via …

Our time spent with Child Of Eden was similarly engrossing, and even surpasses its predecessor in many ways. While the ‘inside the network’ storyline continues, visually the game is more lush, replacing many of the vector outlines with vibrant colours. The blending of audio and video carries over from Rez, and playing it on Kinect brings even more to the game.

With the Hand Eye Society’s Arcadian Renaissance happening tonight as part of Nuit Blanche, we figured it would be appropriate to post this interview with The Start Show co-organizer Benjamin Rivers. When we first interviewed him, it was at Fan Expo as a comics creator. We actually had no idea about his involvement with Hand Eye at the time. Well, we know better now.
The Start Show, which I hope becomes an annual event at the very least, showcased a number of great indie titles, including N+, Dyad and Spooky Squids’s Cephalopods …

The folks over at Bedlam Ink, who are charged with doing additional storytelling for the new Showcase series Lost Girl were at the Fan Expo booth this year. This included both a printed comic, which is a standalone story, as well as a motion comic that works as a prequel to the TV series. Jessie, Navid and Tigh from Bedlam Ink were kind enough to take some time to talk with us about how the comics tie into the series, and some of the process of developing the comics for …

We first met April Mullen and Tim Doiron at 2009′s Fan Expo, they were promoting the DVD release their hilarious mockumentary Rock, Paper, Scissors: The Way of the Tosser. Between then and now, they’ve gone on to make another feature film, Gravy Train, which premiered this past April, and has now launched on DVD, but you can find out about that, and more, in the video interview.

One of the stops we made during Fan Expo this year was the Nerd Girl Pinups booth. For a couple of years now Nicole (friend of the show) and the gang there have hosted a Fan Expo after party a few blocks up from the convention floor. Dave talks with Katherine Curtis and Kenickie Street about what’s new with nerdgirlpinups.com, and gets the lowdown on their new calendar, which you can check out here.

Showcase was on hand at Fan Expo promoting their new TV Series Lost Girl, and we managed to get some time to talk with stars Anna Silk (Bo) and Kris Holden-Ried (Dyson). The show, about a succubus who’s only recently become aware of the larger supernatural fae world of which she’s a part, airs Sundays at 9pm.
In this interview, Alex talks with Anna and Kris, who give us an idea of what it’s like working on the supernatural thriller, as well as some insights into their individual characters, and the …

What happens when your bid to take over the world fails, and despite your scaly visage, you’re just not good at being evil? Get into the pizza business, of course. That’s the premise to the comic Snakor’s Pizza, about a wannabe super villain who has to turn to a more practical career choice when his dream dies.
Peter talks with writer Sean (SJ) Jordan (aka The Wordburglar) and artist Kody Peters about ideas behind the comic and their influences. While available in print, you can get a taste of it for …
