It didn’t help that Expo was moved from the larger south building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, to the north, which has approximately 20% LESS square footage. At Fan Expo, Geoff Lapaire of Pure Pwnage was kind enough to give us a look at the still-in-beta app that they’re developing for Android phones (an update to the already available iPhone app). The soundboard app, l33t Speaker, will have both basic and Pro versions, and Geoff shows it off on his Nexus One. The makers of The Walking Dead TV series, on AMC, screened the first official trailer at the San Diego Comic Con this year, and at least one person in attendance managed to record it and put it up on YouTube. Though it’s a cam, the trailer holds up and it looks like they’re getting everything right. Also AMC posted some great pictures today from Comic-Con, where the show and cast made a big splash. AMC and the producers of The Walking Dead are managing to keep fans updated on the series production almost daily.
