We take a look at the LG Optimus Quantum Windows Phone 7 device with a slideout landscape QWERTY keyboard. The slide mechanism, while a bit stiff, also feels very solid, and still doable with one hand. At a recent LG event, we got some hands on time with LG’s two Windows Phone 7 devices headed towards the Canadian market, the LG Optimus 7 slate style phone on Telus, and the LG Optimus Quantum QWERTY slider on Bell. A little while back, we got a chance to take a look at the Telus version of the LG Shine Plus, aka the LG Ally in the US. A few weeks ago a Best Buy Mobile flyer (see the flyer image by clicking more below) showed a mysterious LG handset called the IQ. This mystery was quickly solved when it was discovered that this was the HSPA Windows Mobile ‘Monaco’ QWERTY slider, previously rumored to be coming to AT&T in the US.
