Motorola finally releases the Telus Milestone Android 2.1 update

While there has been no official anouncement from either Motorola or Telus, a post on the Alldroid.org forums tonight said that the Android 2.1 update was finally released yesterday. At the moment it seems the update must be done with the Motorola software updater tool, found here – there have been no reports of an OTA update yet. Mozilla Firefox 3.6 available now

If you use Firefox, and haven’t yet got the update notification, verison 3.6 of the Mozilla Foundation’s popular web browser has been unleashed for Windows, Mac and Linux users.  Although freshly minted, in my limited testing it does seem snappier than earlier versions, though with my standard 15 tabs open, memory usage hardly seems addressed.
