Mobilicity and Wind offering $45 unlimited plans

Wind Mobile and Mobilicity have been fighting tooth and nail for customers dissatisfied with the Big Three.  Given Canadian love-hate relationships with Bell/Rogers/Telus, there’s a large pool to draw from.  The latest volley was started by Mobilicity, which introduced a $45 unlimited plan that includes North America wide calling, data, and global text messaging. Telus finally confirms their iPad plans, NOT offering unlimited data as originally thought

The image above, created earlier today, was based on some assumptions taken from Telus’ weekend announcement of their iPad plan. After some speculation on Friday, a press release was sent out on Saturday detailing their offering – a single plan of 500MB for $20, which at the low-end is a much better deal that what Bell and Rogers are offering, and unlike their plans, Telus’ is available post paid (sadly with a $35 activation fee).
