Left for Dead: The Sacrifice Comic Part Three Out Now – get ready for mashups
Last night Valve released the third part of their “The Sacrifice” online comic that details the events in between Left for Dead 1 and 2, the ‘Passing’ DLC, and the “The Sacrifice” DLC (for both the first AND second games) coming on October 5th. The comic itself also fills in a lot of the backstory of the characters of Left for Dead 1, and is currently available online here.
Also a few days ago on the Left 4 Dead blog Valve detailed their plan to expand how the comic will be available…
Thanks to the overwhelming worldwide response to the comic, we are going to make more versions of the comic available on the web. This will include the current version in jpg form, a pdf version , a jpg version with no text and a jpg version with no text, speech bubbles or sound effects. This should help get the comic localized and give people the raw panels to play with and make their own comic. We will make sure to link to the best ones!
With the above Valve once again shows that they believe in giving back to their community first and foremost, and i’ll be looking so see what kind of cool remixes of the comic people come up with.
Also you can expect me to be very busy playing Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 next week!
