TIFF 2010: Monsters Q&A with director Gareth Edwards and cast

Monsters, directed by Gareth Edwards, was one of my top picks for this year’s TIFF. I had heard some good things about the film – some were calling it this year’s District 9, made at a fraction of its budget. Going in, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. Toronto After Dark Film Festival announces lineup

The Toronto After Dark Film Festival has opened its online box office and released their 2010 lineup.  This is the 5th year for the TADFF, which runs from August 13th to 20th at the legendary Bloor Cinema.  TADFF’s eclectic mix of horror, sci-fi and other genre pictures often includes a number of films that rarely get Canadian screening, and it’s good to see they’re keeping up with that tradition.
