TIFF 2010: Submarine Q & A with Richard Ayoade

By drsquid on 16 Sep 2010

The Q & A session with director of Submarine, Richard Ayoade and the cast (Craig Roberts, Yasmin Paige & Sally Hawkins). Though I am only attending a handful of films at this years TIFF, Submarine was one of my must sees. Richard Ayoade (many of you might know him as Moss from the IT Crowd) brought his debut feature to Toronto, and this Q & A shows how funny he is in person.

Yes I AM the guy who asked the the last question from behind my camera, and was ribbed by Richard!  My apologies for the shaky camera work towards the end.

If I ever win a hundred million dollars, I’ll spend every last penny of it to buy Richard Ayoade and have him follow me around everywhere I go, just talking. I won’t even care what he’s talking about, because every word out of that man’s mouth is comedy gold.

Yes, he is very very funny – I have only really been exposed to him since I burned through 3 seasons of the IT crowd in 2 weeks last month!
