“Film Is In The Air” At Raindance Canada

Toronto native Elliot Grove, Britain’s premier independent film champion and the founder of Raindance Canada, returns to Toronto from April 20-26, to host Raindance Canada’s spring courses. The week of events will end with the intensive two day Master-Class Write and Sell the HOT Script on Saturday April 25 and Sunday April 26, 2009 from 9:30am – 6pm.

Write and Sell The Hot Script is a step-by-step guide to constructing the best story possible—be it a screenplay, short story, or novel. Grove, who has taught his Write and Sell the Hot Script classes to more than 10,000 students worldwide, is available in Toronto from April 20th to discuss but not limited to the following points:

Top 10 mistakes writers make about story.
Five best and worst questions about screenwriting.
Five best techniques of character and plot.
Four ways to get an agent and sell your film
What is ‘hot’ in today’s marketplace
    Writing for the internet

The cost of the two day class is $349.99 (plus GST) at the University of Toronto, St. George campus.

Besides the Master Class, there are a number of other events scheduled for April with Elliot Grove, including the 99 Minute Screenwriting School, which is free to Raindance members, and since membership is free… well you can do the math!
