Mobilicity coming in June, with unlimited plan

2010-05-11-mobilicityAccording to the Globe and Mail, Mobilicity will be launching in Toronto at some point in June, and along with it an unlimited plan at a flat $65, which will include long-distance and data.  There is no actual confirmation of this, but it does seem like a likely time to launch.

“We’ve been very tight-lipped about our launch date for very specific reasons. It’s a very competitive market out there,” Mr. Dobbin said. “However, we are measuring time to launch in weeks and days, not months any more.” Dave Dobbin, Mobilicity president

This comes just a week after Wind Mobile started offering tiered data plans to complement their unlimited data.

[UPDATE] According to an official press release, put out on Wednesday, Mobilicity will announce launch details at an event, in their soon-to-open Corporate Store in Scarborough, on Friday May 14th. Stay tuned to rgbfilter this Friday for the details.
