Mobilicity clears CRTC hurdle – launching ‘spring’

Though the imminent launch of Mobilicity this spring has been more or less known for a couple of months, they still had to meet the ownership regulations of the CRTC.  Well, it looks as if, after a little bit of tweaking of their shareholder agreement, they’ll be cleared to go. Mobilicity to launch this spring

Data & Audio-Visual Enterprises aka DAVE Wireless, has announced that when they launch their new wireless service in Toronto this spring, it’ll be under the much more consumer friendly Mobilicity brand, a contraction of ‘Mobile’ and ‘Simplicity’.  According to their homepage, if you say it fast it sounds like “Moblissity”, but that remains to be seen.
