After Valve’s successful launch of Steam for Mac, this weekend sees the release one of the most anticipated Valve Mac games, Team Fortress 2, where the eternal debate of Mac vs. PC can finally be settled on the digital battlefield (Steam Play supports cross-platform play). Steam for Mac coming Wednesday, as in tomorrow

It looks like Steam for Mac WILL start rolling out tomorrow, maybe even the real tomorrow, not the Valve Time equivalent, (generally meaning later this week). With tomorrow’s launch will be the Mac version of Portal, plus the top-down dungeon crawler Torchlight, from Runic Games. It’s also interesting to note that although Team Fortress 2 is listed in the Steam for Mac beta software, and that it’s the graphic Valve has put in an iMac (above), it’s not listed in the initial batch of games to be released.
